Quick update on the situation with full bore rifle shooting. We now have a number of fully NRA qualified range officers, all with the required first aid qualifications. We need to get at least one session on the MOD range at Strensall as range officers before we can take any probationers onto an MOD range. (Plus a few other things need to be done.)
Nick is managing the process and has dates booked but we are at the mercy of the MOD who can and do cancel about a third of bookings. Just had one date cancelled in September.
Things are proceeding as fast as possible, subject to MOD delays.
